In May 2026, I'll be attending the Biggest Week in American Birding.
Below I am documenting my gear for the trip, and will add a daily log and photos after.

The Biggest Week in American Birding is a birding festival held each May along the southwestern shore of Lake Erie, centered around Magee Marsh and the surrounding area. It is one of the best places in the world to see warblers during spring migration.

For this trip I am keeping the kit tight — all bird, all the time. I will have two long lenses on a single body, and a teleconverter to push reach even further when I need it.
